    Using Your Encour!™ is easy. But if you want to learn more about some of the best ways to use it, you'll find those questions and answers here.

    • How often should I take Your Encour!™?

      We encourage you to take Your Encour™ daily to maintain your energy level consistently.

      The process of restoring your energy at a cellular level is accomplished over time with Your Encour! ™. Take it with food or without. It is refreshing after your activity or exercise each day. 

      o

      You will experience the full impact of Your Encour™! after 3 to 4 weeks of taking it every day. Should you forget a day, you can take it at night before bed or you can just get back on the regular schedule the next day. 

      o

      A daily serving of Your Encour!™ PowerStix™ is one stick mixed into 10 to 16 ounces of water or another beverage. Like a bolder taste? Use less water. If the taste is too strong, simply add more water. 

      o

      A daily serving of Your Encour!™ PowerTabs™ is three chewable tablets. You can take these tablets with you in a pocket or purse and enjoy them on the go. Just remember to drink plenty of water because your body will need it to get the optimal effect of Your Encour!™

    • When should I take Your Encour!™?

      You can take Your Encour™ anytime. You can enjoy it with meals or without. You can take it before, during or after exercise or activity.

      Your Encour!™ is easy to use. There is no rigid schedule to follow, but we encourage you to make it a habit to take it each day for maximum benefits. We also encourage you to drink plenty of water. Water is required by your body for normal function, muscle development and growth. Make sure you get enough water to take full advantage of the active ingredient in Your Encour!™.

      There is some research that would suggest an advantage can be obtained when you take Your Encour!™ right after exercise or activity. Some tests indicate it will be taken in more efficiently and help restore the energy that has been expended by your cells.

      Another trial in healthy older adults concluded, “Compared with resistance training alone, creatine supplementation improves muscle strength, with greater gains in lean tissue mass resulting from post-exercise creatine supplementation.”

    • Will Your Encour!™ keep me awake if I take it later in the day?

      No. Because Your Encour™ does not contain caffeine or any other stimulants, you can take it late in the day, even right before you go to bed, and not disrupt your sleep.

      Your Encour!™ PowerStix™ contain only the active ingredient creatine monohydrate, Vitamin C, flavor and sweetener. No caffeine. No sugar. So you can rest easy.

      Our Your Encour!™ PowerTabs™ chewable tablets contain a few more ingredients to keep the tablets from falling apart including a trace amount of dextrose.     • If I should get sick, should I keep taking Your Encour!™?

      Even if you cannot exercise or return to normal activity, taking Your Encour™ will help maintain your energy levels.

    • What types of activities would be best to maximize the benefits from Your Encour!™?

      Any exercise or activity that pushes you to achieve more than you have accomplished before is helpful. Strength training is best. Our goal is to get you moving and build your mental and physical strength. We encourage you to challenge yourself to include a variety of options as you start taking Your Encour!™.

      We understand that activities like fitness training can be intimidating to most adults as we age. However, nothing is more important to keeping our strength and focus as staying active and challenging our bodies to do more. Your body constantly adapts to the challenges that are placed on it and generally improves in strength over time when challenged. 

      o

      If you don’t use your mind and muscles, you lose strength and focus. That is why staying active with regular activities like fitness training is important. A variety of activities you enjoy will help you to sustain your motivation and makes for better results. 

      o

    • What if I get bored with the same exercise routine?

      This is one area where the answer is not Your Encour!™. Use your imagination. Get creative and think about all the different activities you enjoy and make them part of your exercise routine. 

      o

      If you no longer find your normal training regime motivating, try something new. Ideally, these should be activities or sports that focus on endurance and muscle strength, coordination, flexibility and balance. 

      o

      Go dancing. Ride a bike. Take a hike. Play 18 holes. Hit the court. Go for a swim. Paddle on a lake. It can be as simple as joining a friend or taking your family for a walk in the park. Start walking and set a goal to go further every day, even if it is just five minutes more a week. Over time, you will see a great improvement in your strength and endurance.

      There are a number of groups and classes available for your consideration as well. 

      o

      Functional training, core training, yoga, Pilates, and others are excellent ways of supplementing your strength-training regime. Here are a few ideas for your fitness routine that might help you add variety at home or at the gym. 

      o

      Incorporate new exercises and change the order of the exercises 

      Find a training partner or join a sports club 

      Play music that motivates you 

      Increase the number of repetitions: aim for up to 12 repetitions per set 

      Add an extra set: complete 3 or even 4 sets of each exercise 

      Add weight

      The most important thing is to get moving! Your results will be a reflection of the effort you devote to your own fitness.

    • Why should I be concerned with muscle loss as I age?

      Muscle strength allows us to move and stay balanced as we age. To remain healthy and mobile, you need to stop the loss of strength and balance. Your skeletal muscles are key to allowing you to be active and enjoy life as you age. 

      o

      Muscle mass and strength both decrease significantly as age increases. That is why regular strength training is so important. Muscle tissue can start deteriorating as early as 30 years. 

      o

      The average 30-year-old can expect to lose approx. 25% of their muscle mass and strength by the age of 70. They will then lose another 25% or so by the time they turn 90. You also increase your risk of falls and fractures. 

      o

      In the paper titled Age-associated loss of power and strength in the upper extremities in women and men, Metter et.al. explain the challenge as follows: 

      o

      “Beginning as early as the 4th decade of life, evidence suggests that skeletal muscle mass and skeletal muscle strength decline in a linear fashion, with up to 50% of mass being lost by the 8th decade of life” 

      o

      “…The aging process and its associated impact on the body are only part of the reason why this (muscle loss) happens. The failure to make sufficient use of our muscular system plays a far bigger role than aging itself.”

      o

      Use progressive resistance training (PRT) which increases the resistance over time, helping build back the muscle mass you have lost. In addition, supplementing with a creatine supplement like Your Encour!™ can improve those results.

      In the European Union EFSA is similar to the FDA. The conclusions of their review included the following statement:  "A cause and effect relationship has been established between the consumption of creatine in combination with resistance training and improvement in muscle strength."

    • What specifically can Your Encour!™do to prevent muscle loss?

      Combined with exercise, Your Encour!™ can stop muscle loss. The active ingredient in Your Encour!™ is approved in Europe for maintaining muscle strength as we age.

      The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has permitted the following claim for the activeingredient in Your Encour!™. “Daily creatine consumption can enhance the effect of resistancetraining on muscle strength in adults over the age of 55.” Positive effects were realized bytaking 3 grams daily in combination with resistance training. The resistance training should be performed so that intensity is increased over time. Training 3 times per week using moderate intensity is recommended.”

      Remember that dietary supplements are no substitute for a varied, well-balanced diet and a healthy, active lifestyle including resistance (strength) training.

      The daily recommended dose of Your Encour!™ with moderate activity is sufficient to maintain muscle mass. Using higher levels of Your Encour!™ and increasing your workout for more intensive exercise may result in additional muscle mass gain.

      “Longer-term creatine supplementation (e.g. 4 to 12 weeks) in combination with training appears to increase muscle mass and strength as a result of an improved ability to perform high-intensity exercise via increased CrP (phosphocreatine) availability (Buford et al., 2007; SCF, 2001).

    • Do I have to drink my Your Encour!™ immediately?

      No, you can take your time enjoying your drink. Your Encour!™ is stable in cold or hot water for consumption within a few hours. 

       o

      Your Encour!™ should be enjoyed soon after you mix it, but you can take your time. It would take days to lose a substantial amount of the potency of the product in water. 

      o

      The mixed powder should not be stored as a solution for long periods because the active ingredient will eventually start breaking down into creatinine, just as it would inside the body. Although this will not have any detrimental effect on you, it will not have the desired effects either. 

      o

    • Do you have to be a certain age to use Your Encour!™?

      No, any healthy adult of any age can take Your Encour!™ .

      If you have a chronic or serious medical condition ask your doctor before using this product, just as you would with any change to your diet or activities, to see if it would be helpful to you.
