Research studies show that creatine positively affects brain function for “tasks that activate large areas of the prefrontal cortex.”

       oo

The study by McMorris  “Effect of creatine supplementation and sleep deprivation, with mild exercise, on cognitive and psychomotor performance, mood state, and plasma concentrations of catecholamines and cortisol” drew the following observations:

      o

“In conclusion, it can be said that the results of this experiment provide evidence of a positive effect of creatine supplementation on cognitive and psychomotor performance and mood state, following 24 h of sleep deprivation, although somewhat selectively…It would appear that creatine supplementation is an aid to overcoming brain fatigue.”

      o

McMorris published a second paper one year after the first which came to similar conclusions.

      o

“To summarize, creatine supplementation had a positive effect on the performance of a complex central executive task."

      o

    • How does exercise help with the health issues I face as I grow older and how can Your Encour!™ help?

Diet, exercise, good sleep habits and the right supplements like Your Encour!™ can help you manage your weight, maintain your balance, and reduce the severity of age related issues.

       o

What’s more, regular strength training significantly reduces the risk of more serious health problems

      o

Strength training also plays a key role in slowing down bone loss and can even help bones to regenerate. Consequently, it can be used strategically for delaying further losses.

      o

    • Why should I take Your Encour!™ as well as increase my activity level?

As adults, we tend to lead more sedentary lives. Increasing your level of activity will help you realize the greatest health benefits of Your Encour! ™.

Research in Germany has demonstrated that regular exercise plays a major role in cognitive well-being and the maintenance of long-term health.

      o

“In conclusion, the present study found that in a general elderly population, moderate or high physical activity, compared with no physical activity, are independently associated with a lower risk of developing incident cognitive impairment after 2 years of follow-up.”

      o

Another study showed that leisure time physical activity had a lasting effect for the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

      o

The latest word from the experts is that they now regard strength training, in particular, as the most effective method of intervening early to counteract the natural loss of muscle mass and muscle strength.

      o

“Several studies have shown that strength (resistance) training can counteract age related impairments (3, 5, e1). The crucial factor in maintaining strength capacity is an increase in muscle mass. Additionally, an increase in muscle activity and frequency during isometric and dynamic muscle work have been observed.

      o

“This review provides evidence that PRT is an effective intervention for improving physical functioning in older people, including improving strength and the performance of some simple and complex activities.”

      o

Your Encour!™ can provide you with optimum support thanks to the effect of the creatine contained within it. Several scientific studies by independent research establishments and universities show that taking creatine on a daily basis boosts the effect that strength training has on muscle strength.

      o

Strength training in the gym is generally how the studies have measured progress. Nevertheless, the choice of the activities you wish to pursue can vary and can be as effective as high intensity exercise for maintaining muscle mass. Exercise like walking, hiking, gardening, etc. all contribute to your strength and help your body maintain your muscle mass. The key is making sure you get regular exercise to keep your muscles in good shape.

    • Is Your Encour™ dietary supplement safe for my renal system and my kidneys?

Yes, recent published studies support that the active ingredient in Your Encour™ is safe for use with healthy individuals and those under a doctor's care.

      o

Historically, there has been speculation that creatine, the active ingredient in Your Encour!™ would negatively impact kidney function. This speculation is based on observation of the presence of creatinine (a different compound than creatine) in urine, which is useful for determining the health of kidneys.

      o

Those allegations concerning kidneys have been addressed directly. Most recently, Richard B. Kreider, et. al. mounted a comprehensive review of creatine and its impact across the spectrum of sport and medicine and published a direct rejection of many incorrect assumptions regarding creatine; including the theory that creatine has an impact on kidneys.

      o

In the 2017 journal article titled International Society of Sports Nutrition position stand: safety and efficacy of creatine supplementation in exercise, sport, and medicine, the authors Richard B. Kreider, et. al. addressed a great number of false assumptions and unsubstantiated claims.

      o

Their conclusions about the safety of creatine include the following…

      o

“Unsubstantiated anecdotal claims described in the popular media as well as rare case reports described in the literature without rigorous, systematic causality assessments have been refuted in numerous well-controlled clinical studies showing that creatine supplementation does not increase the incidence of:

      o

      musculoskeletal injuries [22, 111, 112, 241],

      dehydration [111, 112, 117, 122, 127, 128, 129, 242],

      muscle cramping [76, 106, 111, 112, 117],

      or gastrointestinal upset [22, 111, 112, 241].

Nor has the literature provided any support that creatine promotes

      renal dysfunction [22, 51, 85, 114, 156, 172, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248] or

      has long-term detrimental effects [22, 23, 53, 155, 172].

      o

Rather, as noted above, creatine monohydrate supplementation has been found to reduce the incidence of many of these anecdotally reported side effects.”

      o

Similarly, a 2012 article titled Creatine supplementation with specific view to exercise/sports performance: an update by Robert Cooper, et.al. reviewed the safety and side effects of creatine supplementation. They came to the same conclusions regarding creatine safety for renal health.

      o

“Specific studies into creatine supplementation, renal function and/or safety conclude that although creatine does slightly raise creatinine levels there is no progressive effect to cause negative consequences to renal function and health in already healthy individuals when proper dosage recommendations are followed.”

      o

The presence of creatinine is not harmful to your health or to your kidneys. Raised creatinine levels do not mean that your kidney function is impaired, just that more creatine is being broken down by your body.

      o

    • My doctor doesn’t want me to take a creatine supplement because it might hurt my kidneys. Is this true?

Unfortunately, there is lots of misinformation about creatine, even among doctors.

      o

      o

Fortunately, science has addressed the widely held misbeliefs that creatine supplementation injures kidneys or puts them at risk.

      o

A review of studies has shown that there is 'no compelling evidence' of harm to kidneys from creatine supplementation.

      o

If you have a medical condition, particularily those that require ongoing treatment, we believe you should speak to your dcotor about this information, before you make any changes to your diet.

      o

Although it is a common misperception that there is a potential impact, no effects on kidney function were found in research with Type 2 diabetic patients studied by Gualono and associates.

      o

“A specific study by Gualono and associates [262] reported that 12 weeks of creatine supplementation had no effects on kidney function in type 2 diabetic patients.” (This full paper is available upon request to the authors)

      o

In fact, the study reveals advantages for creatine supplementation for improving the outcomes of kidney disease patients.

      o

Many of us get distracted during the day and when we are active, so we don’t reach for water as often as we should, and our cells get depleted of water. Drinking more water is recommended universally as it is vital to health and nutrition, and it is especially necessary for your kidneys and renal system.

      o

If you are increasing your activity level as a result of having more energy with Your Encour!™, then likewise make sure you increase your consumption of water, either in your glass with Your Encour!™ drink powder or after you enjoy Your Encour!™ chewable tablets.

      o

The following is a quote from the research study:

      o

“Creatine was found to increase total body water possibly by decreasing the risk of dehydration, reducing sweat rate, lowering core body temperature and exercising heart rate. Furthermore, creatine supplementation does not increase symptoms nor negatively affect hydration or thermoregulation status of athletes exercising in the heat [83,84]. Additionally, CM ingestion has been shown to reduce the rate of perceived exertion when training in the heat [85].”
